Welcome to Monterey Highlands School, a Transitional Kindergarten through eighth grade public elementary school, located in Monterey Park, California.  Monterey Highlands School provides an educational program that supports all students to reach their full potential in an environment that enhances self-esteem, promotes social interaction, and encourages a life-long love of learning.  “It takes a village to raise a child,” and Monterey Highlands is a village where the collaborative efforts of our staff, students, parents, and community members that Monterey Highlands create a nurturing learning environment focused on rigorous, engaging, and authentic learning experiences.  With offerings that include academics, music, and college and career readiness activities, this well-rounded program helps to equip each student with the tools necessary to become an impactful member of society.
