Mission and Vision
The Mission of Montreat College is to be: "Christ-centered, Student-focused, Service-driven: Equipping agents of transformation, renewal, and reconciliation."  

We seek to honor Jesus Christ by educating and encouraging our students to engage with each other and the world.  We look to help shape students into women and men who will bring wisdom, joy, peace, energy, and enthusiasm to the mission field, the hospital, the school room, the pulpit, the orchestra pit, the laboratory, the playing field, the wilderness, and the home.  

Approaching the integration of faith and learning from an informed, biblical perspective, faculty, staff, and students form a Christian community of learners that seeks to pursue the premise that all truth is God's truth and explores the significance of this in academic disciplines. We are committed to a thorough exploration of and complementary relationship between biblical truth and academic inquiry. We openly embrace students of all cultures, races, and faiths in an atmosphere of academic excellence, intellectual inquiry, and Christian love.
