Mt. Caesar Elementary School is located in the town of East Swanzey, New Hampshire and is a part of the beautiful Monadnock Region. This regional school includes children from Swanzey, Richmond and Roxbury.

Programs meet the developmental needs of all students, pre-school through grade 3. Mt. Caesar school prides itself in meeting varied learning styles through multi-sensory approaches, thus valuing the uniqueness of each child.

Some our unique options extended to our student population include:

• sixteen kindergarten students whose assessment qualifies them participate in extended kindergarten
• one section of first grade and one section of second grade participate in looping whereby the teacher and class of children stay together for the entire two years of first and second grade
• three second grade teachers team teach, regrouping children for reading, spelling and math, enabling students to experience heterogeneous grouping for the majority of the curriculum, and homogeneous grouping allowing for direct instruction, maximizing time on task for these key curriculum areas.
• Four sections of third grade form two team teaching teams, again allowing for grouping and maximization of direct instruction and time on task
• the other classes are traditional self contained classroom
