Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide facilities that are clean, safe and healthy to promote educational excellence. This encompasses maintaining the facilities, grounds and fields in a clean, professional and safe condition. We must also maintain the infrastructure of the buildings in a manner that preserves the communities' investment in these major assets.

Goals:

 - All students will have access to a challenging and rigorous instructional program based on Common Core Standards that embed high levels of critical thinking skills; no less than 85% of all students will achieve proficiency on the appropriate state and local assessments.

 - The district will support and sustain a quality teaching-learning environment by ensuring all educators are participating in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) that allow them to continuously improve as instructional experts in response to a rapidly evolving, culturally diverse society.

 - The district will ensure that parents and community residents are active supporters of educational systems and are provided with opportunities to engage in activities that support our schools and students.

 - The District will initiate, monitor and evaluate caring community initiatives to ensure students and adults work and learn in safe, secure environments.

 - Undertake and analysis of the budget process to ensure there is an alignment between board policy, educational goals and fiscal resources.
