The Public Works Department maintains municipal roads, parks, and buildings.

Road Maintenance - provides road maintenance within the right of ways of 130 miles of municipal roads. Maintenance includes:

Brushing trees
Patching pot holes
Crack sealing
Mowing road sides
Repairing drainage system
Sweeping
Repairing and Installing street signs
Snow removal.

Park Maintenance - Public Works is responsible for maintenance of the 8 ballfields, 2 soccer fields, 5 pavilion’s, 3 tennis and basketball courts, the William Funk Bikeway, and numerous walking trails.
