Moms and Dads - Your newborn, infant or toddler was born to learn and YOU are your child's first and most influential teacher. If you live in Queen Creek - MyChild'sReady is a free service available to support you in the most important role of your lifetime - raising your child.
MyChild'sReady offers personal visits, parent group meetings, developmental screenings and resources. You will also receive additional support in parent-child interaction, guidance and discipline, stress reduction, infant brain development and support in enhancing your family's functioning. Home visits are at least monthly but can be more frequent as support is needed.
If you are pregnant - we can provide information on fetal growth and development, healthy nutrition, and the physical and emotional adjustments you are and will be experiencing.
If you are a parent of a newborn or infant - you will learn about your baby's development, understanding your baby's cues, baby care, feeding and sleep patterns, establishing routines and support for you with your bundle of joy!
If you are a parent of a toddler - you will receive support as your child transitions to solid foods, meeting nutritional needs, parent-child interaction time, dental health, speech, developmental and growth milestones as your baby starts to talk, crawl, and walk. We can help you manage the "Terrific Twos"!
If you are a parent of a pre-schooler - you will learn games, songs, and activities that you can do with your child to support the physical, emotional and verbal development occurring during this time. This includes coping with temper tantrums, picky eating and much more!
We hope to help you set your child on a path to success from birth to their entrance into kindergarten. Call us at 480-304-9440 to assure that your child is ready!
Child Crisis Center (www.childcrisis.org) is providing this free service as a result of a grant from First Things First. First Things First (www.azftf.gov) is an Arizona voters approved initiative which works to ensure that our youngest children have access to quality early childhood experiences so they will start school healthy and ready to succeed.
