Aubrey Oaks Alpacas, in conjunction with the Alpaca Owners & Breeders Association, is happy to announce that Cooke County’s ONLY working Alpaca Ranch is open to the public without an appointment for 9 hours on the last weekend of September, 2013. 

Aubrey Oaks Alpaca Ranch will be open to the public for National Alpaca Farm Days event to showcase their herd of twelve, fine ARI Registered Alpacas—which includes two NEW precious juvenile alpacas (under 1 year). In addition to hands-on opportunities for ranch visitors and excellent photo opportunities, the public will be able to peruse Fine Peruvian Imported Alpaca Products, discuss the requirements that raising, breeding, showing, and selling Alpacas entails, including tax advantages of owning your own ranch, opportunities to own Alpacas without owning land, and the opportunity to learn about their daily/monthly/annual care routines that are necessary. Complimentary light refreshments will be made available. 

Located just 8.6 miles east of I35 @ California St. off of FM678 near the community of Woodbine, the ranch is at 425 Woodbine Estates Road. There are over 6,500 registered Alpacas in Texas registered to 484 Account Holders, but there is ONLY ONE working Alpaca Ranch in CookeCounty, Texas! National Alpaca Farm Days promotes the Alpaca industry in the USA which is about 200,000 Alpacas today. Aubrey Oaks Alpacas is a proud member of both ARI (Alpaca Registry, Inc.) & 

AOBA (Alpaca Owners & Breeder’s Association), as well as Texas & Oklahoma Alpaca organizations.
