Purpose is to extend a warm welcome to newcomers to the Rome area, acquaint them with the community and its resources, and provide social settings for developing new friendships. MONTHLY MEETINGS We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the Coosa Counry Club for lunch, a short imformative program and a chance to meet and talk with other New Romans. SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS Day Trips include visits to local attractions and shopping trips. Lunch Bunch takes monthly outings to various local restaurants. Book Club, Mah Jong, and Bunko meet monthly at members' homes. Evening Events include Dinner Club at restaurants, parties at members' houses, trips to local plays, symphonies, movies, etc. Walking group meets every Monday. WOMEN'S OUTREACH Visits to local nursing homes and contributing to various women's outreach programs. SPECIAL EVENTS Annual Holiday Auction is a Breakfast Auction with proceeds benefiting local charitable organizations. Join Us!!
