History:
North Brook Elementary opened in August of 1987 and brought together students from three schools located in Western Lincoln County that were built from 1921-1925. The three schools were North Brook No. 1, which included all grades until West Lincoln High School opened in 1961; North Brook No. 2, also known as Mitchell School, which served African-American students in first through eight grade; and North Brook No. 3. North Brook Elementary currently serves Pre-K through fifth grade with a total of 350 students. North Brook Elementary School is located in western, rural Lincoln County, North Carolina. The property was originally Fariview School, which operated from 1895-1925 as a one-room school. North Brook Elementary Blue Jay's plan to conintue to SOAR together as a school by "Making Tomorrow".

North Brook Elementary will provide a rigorous and relevant curriculum targeting twenty first century skills. We will collaborate with all stakeholders to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where students are empowered to discover their strengths, reaching their maximum potential and becoming responsible, productive citizens and lifelong learners.
