Mission Statement

The primary mission of the North County School District is to provide the educational opportunities necessary to assist students in developing their intellectual, career, physical, social and emotional needs through participation in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The desired result of this participation would be the preparation of students to be successful in their own endeavors and to contribute positively to the society in which they live.

Vision Statement

The R-I District believes that:
Education should provide an opportunity for the maximum development of all students within the limitations of their own capabilities.
All students can learn;
Education must help students realize their worth as individuals and should lead them toward becoming productive members of society;
The foundation of the district's educational program is based on the development of competencies in the basic fundamentals of reading, oral and written communication, mathematics, physical and social preparedness, intellectual maturity and a strong aspiration toward career development;
The role of the teacher is to provide opportunities for the individual to achieve at the maximum level;
The student must have responsibilities in the educational process.
