With the mission of "Preserving the Past, Serving the Present, and Shaping the Future of Northampton County," NCHGS offers a series of historical programs, genealogical resources in its Jane S. Moyer Library, and the museum whose holdings explore the history of Northampton County through the use of everyday objects, books, and other items. The Sigal Museum at 342 Northampton St. displays interactive and passive exhibits of Lenape lifeways, paintings, furniture, tools, silver and chinaware dolls, needlework, weapons and uniforms, jewelry and Native American artifacts dating from pre-colonial times to the present.
