The 110-acre Shoals Campus houses academic and applied technology programs. The Patriot Center, a multipurpose facility, offers the largest seating capacity in Colbert County. Athletic fields, tennis courts and a fitness center provide opportunities for both intercollegiate and intramural athletics or wellness activities for the student body and community. A 78-bed residence hall provides safety and security for students away from home. A child development center is available to students and the community with a qualified staff to care for the children. Also housed on the Shoals Campus are allied health programs, science labs, special programs such as adult basic education, and the Alabama Technology Network's Environmental Technology Center.
