Our Mission is to empower adults with the knowledge, skills, cultural awareness and aesthetic enrichment necessary to participate effectively as citizens, workers, family members, and consumers in a multi-cultural and interdependent world.

About Us:
The Adult School serves the communities of Norwalk and La Mirada as well as other surrounding areas.
Norwalk, a multi-ethnic community, is located approximately 17 miles southeast of Los Angeles and covers an area of 11 square miles.
La Mirada, also multi-ethnic, is located 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles.

The Norwalk-La Mirada Adult School is part of the Norwalk-La Mirada School District which includes 18 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, 3 comprehensive and 1 continuation high school. The adult school operates on two main campuses, one in Norwalk and one in La Mirada. However adult school classes are offered at many other locations including the elementary schools, high schools, churches, and also residential care facilities in these cities.
