The Norwich Pumpkin Festival originated in 1999 after several families from the Norwich area attended another popular Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH. This group of individuals was inspired to bring a similar event here to their hometown in Norwich. The primary goal of the event is to bring families together for Free activities and entertainment during the two-day festival.

Though our focus has started to shift from craved pumpkins, the Norwich Pumpkin Festival committee has continued to work year round to ensure that the community of Norwich will be able to enjoy such an event. Despite our share of rainy, cold and even snowy weather throughout the years, this event continues to be the highlight of the fall season for many people- young and old alike!
