Nutley, a community of 30,000, is located in Northeast Essex County on the border of Passaic and Hudson Counties. The Township is currently celebrating its 100 anniversary. At its inception, Freemasonry already existed in the community for nearly fifty years.

On April 19, 1978, through the consolidation of Northville Lodge and Nutley Lodge No. 167, Nutley Lodge No. 25 was formed. Its membership was enhanced in 1981 when it merged with America Lodge No. 256.

Despite its legacy, Nutley Lodge No. 25 considers itself a relatively new venture. This new lodge is a successor to the efforts of the men who came before us. Its membership is diverse and reflects the diversity of its community. It is just beginning to realize its identity and potential. It is marked by youthful exuberance and by the energy of officers and members who envision a growing, stable lodge that reflects the joy for life and  dedication to growth.
