Currently, we have nearly 650 students enrolled in Ocoee Elementary. We are a small town located on the edge of Orlando, Florida. Many of our parents commute to Orlando, however, we still retain a small town atmosphere. Our school building was constructed in 1978 around an open concept educational principle. We have completed construction to build enclosed classrooms and hallways in the previously open areas. 42% of students receive free or reduced lunch. In 2003-2004, 1 % of the students were suspended for behavior.

At Ocoee Elementary, education is focused on meeting the needs of individual students. To better meet the needs of these children, we have in place several special programs.
