Farmers' Markets are the best place to buy fresh food that's grown right here in Washington state. Fruit and produce purchased at the peak of the season is, by far, the most nutritious and best tasting. There is nothing like purchasing direct from the farmers. They will be happy to talk to you about how they grow it. They will offer suggestions on the best way to store it and prepare it. They'll even let you sample something new that you've never tried before but were curious about.
The Okanogan Valley Farmers' Markets is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the business success of the Okanogan Valley's small farms and residents by operating a vibrant farmers' market that will serve as a community gathering place and a small business incubator.
