Onawa has several parks with some really awesome playground equipment, basketball courts and skate park.One of our parks is next to the Aquatic Center. The Onawa pool has a slide, small children’s pool, and shade areas. Next to the Aquatic Center is our museum complex.

The Kiwanis museum complex consists of a caboose, train depot, old schoolhouse, church, log cabin, and blacksmith shop. Also within the Onawa museum complex is the Monona  County Historical  Museum.  The Eskimo Pie originated in Onawa and they have some of the original equipment.
