ORO VALLEY OPTIMIST
The Oro Valley Optimist , along with all Optimist clubs throughout the world, is dedicated to "Bringing Out the Best in Kids".
All fund raising activities are for the sole purpose of having monies available to promote youth activities within the community and surrounding areas. "Youth on Their Own", "Oro Valley Parks & Recreation Department's junior golf program,", Student of the Month rotated 8 times a school year in the 4 Oro Valley High Schools, Oratory and Essay contests giving local youth the opportunity to participate in a great venue with scholarships awarded to Arizona District winners, "Arizona Opitmist Child Cancer Fund", Optimist Camp Abilities held for deaf or blind students , just to name a few.
Club meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at the Uno Chicago 10180 N Oracle Rd. starting at 11:45. For further information call Lyra Done at 907-2982. We look forward to seeing you very soon. Lyra Done, Immediate Past President
