Our History And Beliefs :
All visitors who have been baptized with water, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who have been admitted to Communion in their own church are welcome to share the Holy Eucharist. We are all called to repent of our sins and to approach the Holy Communion as an expression of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ. Many visitors (who desire on occasion to receive Communion in the Episcopal Church) find it to be the means to strengthen their life within the Christian family and their participation in the church to which they belong, as we pray and work that God's Church may be one.
Our Lady of the Lake was founded in 1983 as part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We celebrate in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. We are both catholic in Christian Faith and protestant, that is, truly reformed and evangelical. Our two confessions of Faith are the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, which we share with all of Christendom. Our profession of Faith is Holy Baptism and Confirmation. Our central act of worship is the Holy Communion also known as the Holy Eucharist, Lord's Supper, Divine Liturgy, the Mass, and the Great Offering.
