The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce is a unique operation in a very special small town that reflects a charm, vitality, quality of life, and community involvement that befits its location. At the same time, the Chamber is a vibrant business organization that seeks to maintain Pacific's Grove character while also providing employment opportunities and opportunities for business growth and prosperity.

No other business organization in Monterey County is as active in community activities, as involved in the fabric of the area it represents, and does as many things as the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce does out of its tiny office and with its small staff, headed by President Moe Ammar. It is able to be so effective because of the legion of volunteers, both business people and residents of Pacific Grove, who work together and devote countless hours to:
- Staging a wide variety of community events.
- Being involved in scores of community activities.
- Promoting the business community with a broad and extensive brush of initiatives.
- Doing many other things that dwarf the agenda of any other business organization in the county.
