About Us:

Here at Palos we believe in faith in action.  Not because our salvation is dependent upon good works – no, we believe Jesus did everything needed for our salvation on the cross – but because we are grateful for everything God has given us and desire to serve him through serving others.  And because we want others to have the peace and comfort that we enjoy through the sure knowledge that heaven is our home.  We do this by serving the needs of others – body and soul.

To that end, we engage in a number of community and charitable events throughout the year.  Some of these include Easter for Kids, our annual church picnic, Vacation Bible School, donation drives for organizations like Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and for survivors of Hurricane Sandy, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Christmas for Kids, and many more.
