Mission Statement:

To serve the public by preventing or mitigating situations which endanger their lives, health, or property; and to excel in our services in a safe, efficient and economical manner so as to be an asset to our community.

Our Vision Statement:

Parker Fire Protection District’s Vision is to become an exemplary public agency.

About Us:

The Parker Fire District covers 100 square miles that includes the Town of Parker, a portion of the City of LoneTree, the town of Foxfield, parts of Centennial and unincorporated portions of Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.

The Parker Fire District was founded in 1958 as a volunteer fire department after a grass fire burned over a square mile. The District had a strong membership of both men and women volunteers until 1985 when it became too big to manage as a volunteer district and became a career department.

The District now has six fire stations with two more in the planning stages and employs more than 125 employees. In addition, the District has offered ambulance service since 1994 and all of its firefighters have Basic Emergency Medical Technician certification.
