Parkinson's disease is not a choice, but quality of life is. Parkinson's Resources of Oregon (PRO) is a non-profit organization devoted to helping those impacted with Parkinson's manage this complex disease with helpful programs and services. With a network of staff in Lake Oswego, Southeast Portland, and Eugene, We are dedicated to meeting the support needs of the Parkinson's community of Oregon and Southern Washington.
Also a chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation, Parkinson's Resources of Oregon is known for providing vital information, education, programs, and services to patients, families and professionals in Oregon and Southern Washington for more than thirty years.
These services include:
· Over 50 Support Groups (including groups for the Care Giver, Newly Diagnosed, and Young Onset)
· Patient Empowerment Programs
· Classes to enhance speech, movement, and balance
· A Lending Library
· Bi-monthly newsletter and monthly e-newsletters
· One on one personal case management and support
· An annual education conference
