In order to provide a safe, caring, nurturing, learning environment it is our mission to develop and implement programs that provide all students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that:

- Allow students to attain and maintain physical and mental fitness,

- Help students understand and appreciate other people,

The Pateros Public Schools believe that every student has the right to an education, including the basic skills necessary for a future vocation and the opportunity for personal growth. Pateros Public Schools will attempt to promote the mental, moral, physical and social well-being of every student.

Each student should feel successful and have an opportunity to develop skills and attitudes necessary to be an active and responsible citizen as well as a self reliant life long learner able to cope with a changing society.

Pateros Public Schools recognize the basic dignity, potential and self worth of each student and will strive to ensure a positive, caring and supportive environment that will develop the student with self esteem, self discipline and an appreciation of the need or continuous effort.
