To educate all students of a diverse community to become responsible, thinking, creative, literate citizens who strive for personal excellence, function, successfully, and enrich society
Paul V. Fly Elementary School is located in East Norriton Township, with a portion of its over 600-student population also drawn from the Borough of Norristown, creating a microcosm of the world. The International Peace Park located outside the school welcomes everyone to our community of learners.
Paul V. Fly has met its No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Average Yearly Progress (AYP) targets since the beginning of the federal initiative. In 2001, the school was chosen as a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
Grade 3 students at Paul V. Fly are involved in a pen-pal program with students from Trepkow-Köpenick, Germany. A visit from the mayor of Trepkow- Köpenick and many other delegates occurred in spring 2004. The project will continue in 2004-2005 with the same students now in grade 4.
