Founded in 2012 by a group of local residents and business owners, Paws 4 Law is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting the City of Murrieta Police Department K9 Unit.
Paws 4 Law is completely independent of the Murrieta Police Department and the City of Murrieta. All monies raised by its members stay within the organization and are used solely to improve the performance of
the K9 Unit and to maintain a high quality of life for the active and retired police dogs that serve our community.
With the hard work of this organization and support from our community, Paws 4 Law will help to raise the much needed funds for items such as:
1.) Training equipment for the Police Service Dogs
2.) Additional equipment for the handlers that the department is unable to provide
3.) Safety equipment for the Police Service Dogs
4.) Training, seminars and competitions for the K9s and their handlers
5.) Funeral and burial costs for both active and retired Police Service Dogs
7.) Purchasing and maintaining agility equipment for K9 training
8.) Acquiring additional Police Service Dogs for the K9 Unit
9.) Administrative costs for running this organization
To raise needed monies, the organization will hold an annual Paws 4 Law community fundraising event every October, in addition to participating in other community events throughout the year. Since we are a non-profit 501c3 organization, we accept monetary donations that are tax deductable. If you would like to make a tax deductable donation, you can reach us at www.facebook.com/paws4law or by email at [email protected] or by phone at 951-821-8775.
