As a subscriber, you will receive a 22 week share of our harvest with enough vegetables for a family of either two or four people. We offer a generous two day pickup window to help accommodate busy schedules Contents change seasonally and include a wide variety of the many diverse crops that we grow. There are gourmet specialty selections tucked alongside the typical staples. Recipes are always available upon request. Full shares receive a bouquet of flowers each week; half shares receive flowers every other week. The flowers help us maintain the biodiversity, beneficial insect population, and pollinator food sources so essential to truly organic agriculture.
We are a small scale farm with interests in deep ecology and sustainability rather than USDA organic certification. We run a CSA with pickups on the farm & on Bainbridge Island. We also sell at the Saturday farmer's market on Bainbridge Island as well as supplying several local resturants. As trained floral designers, we offer Persephone's flowers for full wedding packages, though weddings are not permitted on our farm. We grow a variety of heirloom vegetables, herbs, fruit, flowers & raise pastured chickens for eggs. We have trained many future farmers through our well respected internship/apprenticeship program.
