Pickin' In The Park has grown into a live entertainment sensation. When they were offered an old barn sitting inside Chief Logan State Park in 2001 to gather and play their music, Pickin' In The Park was born. Devoted to honoring real country, gospel and bluegrass music's rich history, Pickin' In The Park showcases a mix of classic country, southern rock, bluegrass, classic rock and the contemporary "real country sounding" music that has have followed in the footsteps of the greats like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, George Jones and Johnny Cash.
Hailed as West Virginia's OPRY in the Park, our stage has seen performers such as American Idol Semi-finalist Chase Likens, The Voice semi-finalist Cody Wickline, Internet Sensation Kayla Slone and America's Got Talent Winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. Bands travel from all over the Appalachian region just to sing on our stage.
