We are excited to be a STEM magnet school! We at Pine Grove STEM School serve students In transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Our students are learning more about how science, technology, engineering and math are involved in our everyday lives. Their eyes are being opened to a new world full of hands-on learning and exploration. Our teachers are integrating STEM into our classrooms by means of supplementing current curriculum with theme based STEM units. In addition to classroom based STEM integration, our students have the opportunity to utilize our top-notch science lab we call the “STEM Den!” All students also participate in Project Lead the Way units, which is a project and problem based curriculum where students solve real life problems using STEM and other core curricular areas all while meeting state standards from each. From iPads, Chromebooks, to robots, engineering and computer coding, our students transitional kindergarten through 6th grade are actively engaged with a variety of technology daily. Our staff is committed to giving students hands-on learning experience with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. All teachers have had extensive training in the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each unique classroom. Our school staff is committed to helping every student succeed socially, emotionally, and academically, by means of fostering a culture where every student is valued, respected and supported.
