Pleasant Middle School houses grades 6-8 with an enrollment of 343 students. The interior of the middle school building was completely renovated in 1994. New energy efficient windows, new plumbing system was installed. The ceilings in most of the rooms were dropped and the floors were carpeted in all of the classrooms. A new public address system was installed. The large gymnasium was upgraded with a refinished floor and new furniture was purchased for some of the classrooms, computer lab, and the cafeteria. In addition to the furniture, new textbooks, computers, and computer software have been continually purchased for student use. The middle school graounds have a new look with our new,more efficient, and safer driveways for both faculty and visitors. For example, a new driveway has been added on the west side of the building. This has provided for a more organized method of drop off and pick up of middle school students by parents. Some of the driveways have been resurfaced. Painting and window replacement, new landscaping and upgrading of our storm sewers have improved our facility. All of the above improvements have made Pleasant Middle School a place in which to be proud.

The middle school offers many opportuunities to participate in extracurricular activities. We offer football, volleyball, and cross-country in the fall; basketball and wrestling in the winter, and track in the spring. Students may also participate in band and/or choir. A weekly newspaper is published with a student staff of approximately thirty students.
