2011 USDA certified organic vegetable and strawberry shares still available! Our reasonably priced 18 weeks of vegetable shares start the week of June 12th and will include over 70 varieties of common, uncommon, popular and heritage vegetables throughout the season. Amount ranges from 5-30 pounds depending on the time of year, and size of share. We average 8-14 items depending on time of year. (Lighter in early summer, heavier late summer, fall. (Shorter summer share option available for seasonal folks!) The only common veggie we do not grow yet is corn. Our pastured pork, raised on organic vegetable scraps and non GMO feed, is available by the side and ready in the Fall. Sign up early to save your veggie side or pork share! You can find a downloadable registration form at our website. Simply print it off, fill it out and send it along with a check in the amount of 50% down to save your spot.
We do offer members the opportunity to customize their basket if they pick-up at our farm.We also offer members the opportunity to order sides of pastured pork and flats of our certified organic strawberries. We find blueberries, chicken and Thanksgiving turkeys that are naturally raised on friends' local farms and offer them to our CSA members.Members also receive weekly newsletters with interesting recipes, pictures from the farm and other news and tidbits.

Drop-off points in Traverse City, Beaver Island, Elk Rapids, Charlevoix, Boyne City, East Jordan, Petoskey and Gaylord. Providence Farm is owned and operated by the Romeyn family. Ryan has been operating a CSA since 2002, previously at the Wagbo Peace Center in East Jordan. We are in our 4th year now at our own property just outside Eastport.
A vegetable share from Providence Farm entitles you to a summer's worth of freshly havested vegetables, produce and packaged right here on our farm, from mid-June through mid-October (about 18 weeks). The quantity varies with the time of year, but ranges from 5 pounds in early summer to 20+ pounds in the late summer and fall.
