Qiuet Creek Farm members receive certified organic, fresh-picked produce weekly from June through mid-November. Our produce is hand-harvested at the peak of ripeness for maximum flavor and nutrition. We grow unique and heirloom varieties of vegetables to bring you outstanding flavor and variety which cannot be found in a grocery store.
In addition to the weekly vegetables, members have full access to our UPick garden with flowers, herbs, cherry tomatoes, green beans, sweet peas, and more. We also provide recipes as well as vegetable cooking and storage information. We host special community events for farm members throughout the season. At the farm we offer other locally, sustainably produced goods such as apples, meats, honey, dairy products, etc. for purchase during pick-up hours. Members also have the opportunity to purchase fruit and chicken shares which are delivered to Quiet Creek CSA on pickup day.
Members pack their own shares and get to make some choices of the vegetables in their weekly share. We offer both a small and regular share to accomodate all family sizes. The regular share is a family size share and feeds 2-4 people. The small share is suitable for couples, feeding about 2 adults, and contains 2/3 the produce of the regular share.
The vegetables in your share will change thoughout the seasons. Sample of a regular share in the summer follows: 4 lbs tomatoes, 4 red peppers, 2 zucchini, 1 watermelon, 1 cantaloupe, 2 eggplant, 1 bunch carrots, 1 bunch Swiss Chard, 1 head lettuce, 1 head garlic, 3 onions, 1.5 pounds red potatoes.
Quiet Creek Farm is a certified organic CSA raising vegetables, berries, flowers, and herbs for 200 members. We specialize in unique and heirloom varieties of produce. Members receive a weekly share of vegetables from June to November. We offer both a small and regular share, to accommodate all family sizes. Vegetables can be picked up on the farm, Tuesdays or Fridays from 2-7 pm.
All members have full access to the U-pick garden which includes flowers, peas, beans, cherry tomatoes, berries, etc. Membership also includes newsletters, weekly recipes, special farm events, and access to the farm store featuring locally, sustainably raised goods such as free-range eggs, pasture-raised meats, organic apples, etc. Quiet Creek Farm is located at the Rodale Institute, just off Rt. 222 and minutes from Rt. 78 (Exit 13).
