Open: Year Round
Kramer's Greenhouse is a third-generation family business that originated in 1945 on George and Martha Kramer's High Ridge Farm in Robinson Township, Washington County. Martha Kramer started supplying plants to friends and neighbors by digging up plants by the roots from benches of soil and wrapping them in newspaper.
In 1963, George's son, Wayne, and his wife Helen, built a larger greenhouse at their home on Steubenville Pike, which was then known as US 22. They continued the business with the help of their five children.
Today, Chris and Dawn Kramer and the fourth generation of Kramer's welcome longtime customers and new ones to Raccoon Creek Winery at Kramer's Greenhouse.
