Mission Statement:

We are convinced that all our students can learn and that our mission is to ensure that each masters the knowledge and develops the attitudes and skills necessary to become a contributing and productive citizen. We believe the education of our children is a cooperative effort of home, school, and community. We provide a comprehensive program of education for grades K-8 and are grateful for our very supportive and caring parents. In 1993-94, and 1994-95 Rancho Santa Fe School continued to strengthen its already strong partnership with parents, local businesses, civic organizations, and individual supporters in serving our most precious resource, the children - whose childhood years we are privileged to share.

We believe that:

The well being of our country depends upon an educated public. All people have choices, are ultimately responsible for their own actions, and that children should support parent effort to bring about student acceptance of those beliefs

Values shape actions and actions and home and school should work cooperatively to instill and support those values

There is a direct relationship between expectations and achievements and we should expect much of our children

All people have the responsibility to contribute to society.  It is essential to regularly evaluate and assess course content, student activities and learning materials to assure their relevance and effectiveness in meeting our mission.
