Our mission at Reach For A Difference is to network with various individuals, professionals, organizations, representatives and leaders of programs already established in the Abilene and Big Country community to form a consortium of members that addresses the needs of autism spectrum individuals, their families and the greater community by providing resources, education, community awareness, direction and assistance in developing, locating and formulating programs, support services and systems to aide and assist the recovering autism spectrum individual, their families and those community members affected by autism spectrum behaviors. It is our hope to provide this support and encouragement during a very critical time when autism is being considered the fastest growing developmental disorder in the United States.

Reach for a Difference will support individual, family and community actions to address identified needs and issues of the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental delays in the West Central Texas area surrounding Abilene. To this end, the corporation will engage in responsive support activities to promote greater understanding of these needs and issues and to help develop, locate, and provide resources to meet expressed needs.

~REACH is a newly organized group dedicated to addressing the complex issues of the Autism Spectrum family in the Big Country. REACH is envisioned to be a consortium of varied individuals and programs partnering in systematic ways to usefully serve members of the community associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
