Christian vision is a view of reality through the lens of God's Supremacy. Redeemer Presbyterian Church endeavors to see everything through this lens that we may understand aright the end or purpose not only of Christian ministry, but all of life.

Redeemer envisions a church body where the driving force of God's Supremacy is our chief end and delight. Scripture tells us that God's work for His glory encompasses His work for our good (Romans 8:28-30). God is at work to redeem and mature His people. As a result, Redeemer is a church where "Christian Lite" is replaced with the renewing reality and anchoring depth of the knowledge of this supreme God saturating all of life. If little knowledge of a little god produces shallow Christians and makes little difference, deep and wide knowledge of the God of Scripture and the redemption He has accomplished drives our hearts and minds to worship, delight, and true life.

We see a church that is deeply struck by the Power of God's Gospel. This Gospel is the Worth and Work Christ that set His church free, and wrapped us in His own royal robe of righteousness. And not only that, but it is transforming us from the inside out, connecting us to one another, creating an "unshockable" people; a people who engage in and encourage real community.

The Worth and Work of Christ also turns us out to Waco and beyond with redemptive purpose to take the word to the world. Redeemer envisions God's penetrating call going out to the people of Waco, both believers and non-believers, to enliven their sleepy souls to see Christ anew, or to raise them from spiritual death and to give them life in Christ. This call includes:

The Spiritually Burned-Out: those Christians that are tired from spiritual hype, spiritual techniques and spiritual how-to's. God's penetrating Word creates joy-filled renewal and grace-filled strengthening.

The Spiritually Starving: those Christians who hunger for Biblical worship, the preached word, the sacraments, teaching and instruction, nurture, community, growth and maturity, and impact.

The Spiritually Skeptical, Scattered, and Calloused: those non-believers who deny God and His Christ. The power of God's word penetrates these stony hearts and calls them to life that they will see the beauty of the Gospel and believe!

Redeemer Presbyterian endeavors to see the extension of God's kingdom in Waco and beyond, to the ends of the earth. God is accomplishing this through Redeemer in the forms of the preached word, Church planting, evangelism and outreach, campus ministry, missions, and deeds of mercy within the scope of Waco and beyond.
