About:
The spirit of community, history, and culture all help make Redlands a great place to live, work and play. And certainly the Redlands Chamber of Commerce is a driving force behind the prosperity of this “livable” city.
Incorporated in 1893, the Redlands Chamber of Commerce still provides a service for local business and professional men and women looking to improve their business and build a better community.
More than 600 businesses are members of the Chamber working together to ensure a strong, viable economy. The Chamber’s programs and activities are focused on three main themes, business promotion and assistance, community development and community promotion.
Community Development priorities include strengthening downtown Redlands and developing an employment base that will enhance existing businesses while creating an ongoing revenue stream. Working closely with the City of Redlands the Chamber facilitates municipal code review, mitigates business concerns and is a partner in the City’s economic development and revitalization programs.
Focusing on community promotion the Chamber acts as the resource center for citywide projects and programs, encouraging visitors and promoting tourism. Redlands is quickly becoming a destination where visitors are coming to enjoy the historical and cultural aspects of the City.
The Chamber is key to promoting the spectacular array of annual community events including the Redlands Bowl, Redlands Theater Festival, the Redlands Bicycle Classic, the Run Through Redlands, and Redlands 4th of July Celebration to name just a few of the annual special events.
