Christ promised, "I will build My Church; and the gates of hell [the grave] shall not prevail against it." His Church teaches the full truth of the Bible.

The Restored Church of God does teach all the true doctrines of God without compromise, as they were taught to Christ's Church by the first-century apostles. We are the successors of the original Worldwide Church of God (WCG), which was established in the early 20th century—and we trace our roots to the first-century Church.

Herbert W. Armstrong (1892-1986) led the Church of God for 52 years, beginning in 1934, when he established the Radio Church of God (later named the Worldwide Church of God). God called him in the fall of 1926 and he was converted in early 1927.

Over the course of Mr. Armstrong's ministry, God revealed through him a great many true biblical doctrines, which had been lost to the Church through the centuries. Hundreds of millions heard his voice and read his literature. After Mr. Armstrong's death, his successors ceased to believe and teach these doctrines. The Restored Church of God is committed to the preservation and teaching of every one of the truths that God brought back to His Church. While many groups arose from the WCG, we are the only true extension of Mr. Armstrong's ministry—the Church in which Christ is now working!
