Mission Statement:
Rhea County High School students, no matter which educational path they choose, will be proficient or above on all Gateway, End of Course, and writing assessment tests; students will also be socially and behaviorally prepared to conquer the next challenge in their lives.
Beliefs:
All children can learn.

Students have the right to learn in a positive, safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Student rights and student responsibilities go hand in hand.
It is important to develop the character of the student as well as the mind.
Assessment is necessary to show student achievement and teacher accountability.
All stakeholders should be represented in school decision-making and policy setting.
Schools exist for the student.
Parental involvement is key.
Community support is crucial.

Vision:
We will provide all of our students with the necessary skills to pass all state assessments so that they will be successful when they leave us, no matter what career or educational path they pursue. We will provide them with appropriate instruction in a safe learning environment. We will provide both academic and social support to help insure their present and future success.
