Mission
To bring people to Jesus Christ and each other.
Core Values
All people matter to God, therefore they should matter to us. God seeks lost people, so should the church.
The church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
The church should strive for excellence in everything it does. Excellence honors God and inspires people.
The church will strive to pattern itself after the early church described in Acts 2:42-47, wherein biblical community and authentic relationships are encouraged and effected, both within and external to the church body.
God's Word is the transformational catalyst for our lives, and its teaching is essential and fundamental to the process of believers developing into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Vision
For a church to truly grow, it is not enough to just keep adding more service times. You have to have empty seats to offer seekers when they want to come! Our two optimal times are nearing capacity right now. Why do we have to push on? Studies show that about seventy percent of the adults in El Dorado County are not churched. That means there are about 50,000 people in our region of the county who get up every day and try to do life without God. These are people who do not know the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, and are within a twenty minute drive of our church.
So, we face a sizable challenge as a church: to enter into the next phase of campus expansion as an investment in the future of hundreds of people who are not yet a part of RHCC.
