A Christ-centered church, with scripture based sermons, Bible studies and adult education activities.

A friendly church, with a variety of social ministries and activities.

A youth-oriented church, with an excellent Sunday School, active youth groups, a youth instrumental group, and regular children's sermons.

A caring church, a place to bring your burdens and your hopes.

Our History

St. Luke's was founded in 1929. Our church family is a rich mixture of young and experienced Lutherans from Dunellen and the surrounding communities. We are growing rapidly, with an average Sunday attendance of over 100 people. The vigorous Sunday School averages 45 students each Sunday morning.

Visitors are often surprised by how warm and friendly the congregation is, without being pushy.

The church offers many opportunities for participation, including the Senior Choir and Youth Instrumental Group, Bible studies, Men's Group, Women's Group, a sewing and craft group, and a number of other groups and committees.
