Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club

Dove Pointe, 1225 Mt. Hermon Road

HISTORY

The Rotary Club of Salisbury - Sunrise, locally known as the Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club was chartered in the spring of 1993 by members of the Wicomico Rotary Club who believed the business community was ready to support a third club and felt the need for a morning option for Rotary membership.

With Bill Rictor serving as the initial president in 93-94 this group of twelve began reaching out to the local community with a focus on health, education and literacy for both young and old alike.

Over the years the club has attracted many new members who have found a home in Rotary. One member is John Thomas Morris who has acheived 30+ years of perfect attendance and is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow. Through his dedication and servant's heart, Tom is a living example of Rotary that works to benefit the community and world around us.
