The large share includes 2 chickens and 2 dozen eggs per month, plus a turkey or duck for the holiday of your choice. The small share includes one chicken and one dozen eggs per month, plus a turkey or duck.

For both the small and large share, the chicken may be whole, cut up, or ground, and the meat may be fresh or frozen.

The program runs year round. Pick ups are the first and third Saturday of each month at the Haymaker farm market. You can also pick up your order at the farm in Randolph.

We ask for the first and last month's payment up front. If you decide to end your subscription before the year is up, that is fine, you just lose your last month's payment.

Welcome to Salt of the Earth Farm. The farm is operated in Randolph Ohio by stay at home farmer mom Katrina Perzanowski Kohout with help from her loving husband and children. We raise heritage breed pigs, turkeys, ducks and chickens on pasture as nature intended. Currently, we sell at Haymaker Farm Market in Kent, Ohio as well as from the farm.

Our small farm is diverse as our acreage allows. Our products include: *Meat and Egg CSA in small or large shares *Chicken, turkey and duck eggs *Chicken (we raise slow growing label rouge birds with excellent flavor) *Turkey (we specialize in midget white turkeys which win taste tests) *Ducks (we raise buff ducks for eggs and fryers as well as pekins for a family sized meal) *Pork (large black pigs are the bread and butter of the farm.
