About Us:
The Saratoga And North Creek Railway was started in July of 2011 as a passenger service between Saratoga Springs and North Creek with 7 station stops in between. Previous operators, the Upper Hudson Railroad, operated scenic train rides from North Creek. The start of the Saratoga & North Creek Railway extended the service to Saratoga Springs enabling a connection with the National Rail Network.
The Saratoga & North Creek Railway boasts vintage rail cars and a powerful diesel engine that can carry passengers along the Hudson River for a truly unique view of the Adirondacks. The passenger service harkens back to the days when train travel was sophisticated and elegant.
In the Winter months, the Saratoga & North Creek Railway operates an historic route to North Creek called the Snow Train. It had been over 70 years since the Snow Train operated when the railroad resurrected the idea in 2011.
