The club offers a complete recreation facility for the entire family, including golf, tennis, swimming, fitness center, fine dining and more. As customary with most private country clubs, the membership holds 100% ownership interest in the land and all improvements. There are currently two categories of membership authorized, 308 full-golf and 172 social-tennis. Both categories of membership hold a proprietary interest by stock ownership.

Saratoga Country Club is located on approximately 100 acres in the secluded foothills of Saratoga and offers scenic views of Santa Clara Valley. Saratoga Country Club was formed in April 1958 and first opened for play June 6, 1962. Six tennis courts were opened for play in 1972, and the second floor of the clubhouse, dining room and lounge was added in 1974.
