Sawyer Wrestling Club's purpose is to introduce the sport of wrestling to 1st through 6th grade students both male and female.  The Club holds clinics covering the rules and techniques used in the Saugerties Junior and Senior High School wrestling programs.  This style of wrestling is not the same as the WWE wrestling as seen on TV.  The young wrestlers participating in these clinics will also have the opportunity to compete against wrestlers of the same age and weight class in tournaments held throughout New York State if they so desire.
