The School District of La Crosse is a leader in providing unique and engaging experiences for our students.  Believing that ‘one size does not fit all’ when it comes to education, the district provides outstanding traditional neighborhood school options, several choice programs, and charter schools.

The School District of La Crosse serves a population of 80,000 that includes all of the city of La Crosse, which has approximately 55,000 residents, and all or part of the towns of Medary, Shelby, Campbell, Bergen, Greenfield, Hamburg, and Washington. You’ll be pleased by the many outstanding educational and family-focused opportunities the area provides.
