About Us:

Screaming Ziplines is entering into our sixth season in 2014. We are proud to be Boone North Carolina's original zipline tour. Many families have now made their annual visit to Screaming Ziplines a tradition. We pride ourselves by focusing on wholesome family oriented fun! For msot ages, 8 to 8 at heart, our only requirement is weight ranges from 70-270 pounds. This is for your safety so please no lead SCUBA belts under your tee shirts! (Yes, this actually happened at our sister course in Florida, Zip Orlando). We have excellent arrangements with local landowners to bring you this world class zipline tour experience. This is one of the longest and triple wide tours in the United States, also featured in USA Today three times! Come join in the fun and see what zipping is all about.

Our name "Screaming Ziplines" is used for recognition of the fun and excitement you will have while on tour. We hope that our name doesn't scare you off, yet excites you and lets you know you are in for a good time.

We are part of a larger network of canopy tours owned, operated, or licensed by parent company Experience Based Learning, Inc. (EBL). EBL is the largest installer and operator of tours in the United States. We are proud to be the only licensed tour in North Carolina as the requirements for training, operation, and safety are more stringent than other tours.

Screaming Ziplines voluntarily participates in a rigorous certification program offered by EBL. We receive refresher trainings prior to reopening each year. EBL brings years of research and expertise to each project and was the first company to install commercial tours in the United States. Screaming Ziplines operates to the ANSI Accredited Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA) standards.
