The Sharon Lions Club is a community service organization whose goal it is to promote and educate others on blindness prevention. 

We do local fundraising events to support causes to cure eye diseases. These events are three or four times per year, as well as an afternoon/evening doing community service by feeding the homeless at a nearby shelter. We collect unused glasses to send to those in need around the world. We meet the 1st Tueday of each month Sept.-June for a dinner meeting usually with having a speaker join us to share our common goals, and welcome others interested in community service and blindness prevention.
